AMI Healthcare is seeking a Clinical Systems Analyst for one of its international healthcare projects.

Position Description: The Clinical Systems Analyst is responsible for the evaluation, re?design, and implementation of transitional care and clinical care policies and reporting procedures for Health Information Technology initiative. The Analyst will be able to communicate with physicians, pharmacists, and other ancillary professions in the data transmission of clinical information to define and execute workflow methodologies. Should be enthusiastic about sharing their past professional experiences and knowledge with EHR and/or IT implementation and information exchange with other health care professionals.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

·         Present programs and relevant health IT related topics such as health information exchange, meaningful use, privacy/security, HIPAA, etc.

·         Lead clinical workflow improvement effort to redesign transitional care policies and procedures (P/P) at health centers and hospitals.

·         Draft, develop and/or modify clinical P/P documentation; as necessary for approval by individual institutions.

·         Plan and oversee implementation of policies and procedures redesign at hospitals, Community Health Centers (CHC) and individual provider clinics.

·         Educate and train clinical staff involved in redesigned policies and procedures.

·         Evaluate effectiveness of redesign and adjust with follow up visits, as necessary.

·         Facilitate communication between clinical Executive Committee, staff and workgroup leaders related to transitional care policies and procedures.

·         Ability to coordinate and organize meetings from various health care stakeholders

·         Work closely with Project Director to coordinate evaluation activities.

·         Participate in staff meetings.

·         Other duties as may be required related to project success.

Primary

·         Minimum 5 years of assisting physician offices and clinics with the implementation and use of electronic health records,

·         Experience promoting quality improvement projects in healthcare facility such as workflow redesign/work processes/health

·         Skill in project management

·         General Demonstrated skill in clinical workflow process redesign.

·         Skill implementing Ability

·         Ability to analyze and solve problems and willingness to retool proposed solutions if they aren’t working as planned.

·         Ability to work without direct day?to?day supervision.  

·         Flexibility to work at a variety of sites, with different schedules and work hours, if necessary.

·         Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

·         Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Word and Excel, and MS Project or a comparable project management

·         Must be able to maintain cordial and professional relationships with client staff, staff and stakeholders,

·         Demonstrate the ability to motivate and work cooperatively with key institutions and staff at all levels.  

Secondary

·         Bachelor’s degree in business, health information management, health informatics or complementary field. 

·         Two years of experience can be substituted for every one year of educational requirement.  

·         Workflow process re?design experience in a community health center and/or hospital.

·         Candidate should have ideally international experience.
