Our client is a hospital system seeking to recruit western trained and educated physicians to join the existing staff on 3 year contracts.

We have an opening for an Emergency Physician with Board certification and a minimum of 8 years post board experience. Candidates must meet the licensing requirements of the Government in Singapore.

Essential Duties:
•Work contracted shifts as scheduled.
•Examine patients for appropriate medical treatment. Diagnose physical disorders and recommend treatment such as prescribing medicine or referring to a specialist.
•Physician complies with expected completion standards regarding charting and lab follow up.
•Responds in accordance with accepted standards to coder inquiries regarding documentation.
•Delivers high quality customer service and patient care standards.
•Provides patient education as per department policy.
•Complies with all department and organizational policies and procedures.
•Complies with all regulatory standards (i.e. EMTALA).
•Perform procedures as per policy.
•Provide in-service training on medical issues as requested.
•Reviews medical records, physical assessments, diagnostic reports and all nursing orders in accordance with policy.

Qualifications

Education:
•Medical Degree from an accredited medical school is required.
•Must have successfully completed a residency program.
Experience:
•Two-plus years of experience in field of practice is preferred.
License/Certification:
•Must be board certified and currently possess a non-restricted license in this state.
•Must possess current, valid federal and state narcotics certificates.
•Current BLS certification required.

Job Summary:

Provide medical services and contribute to the design and delivery of high quality, cost effective, values- based patient care for our patients.

Essential Duties:
•Communicate accurate and pertinent information with patient care providers and other members of the care delivery team to facilitate effective and efficient patient care.
•Participate in and provide “”on-call”" services after hours in accordance with schedules to be determined by the facility so that coverage during weeknight, weekends and holidays is maintained so that continuous, uninterrupted adequate patient care is provided.
•Prepare medical record entries as required by facility policies, medical staff by-laws and regulatory authorities.
•Participate in medical staff/hospital committees as appropriate.
•Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, staff and the public.
•Ability to demonstrate effective time management, office and departmental organization, exercising good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills.
•Ability to work effectively under pressure and to use discretion with confidential data that may impact staff and operation of the facility.

Meadows Regional is assisting our ED group based in Savannah in their search for at least one ED physician who will move to Vidalia. Our ED sees close to 30,000 patients per year. We have 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. shifts available as well as 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. There is also P.A. coverage with triple coverage during peak periods. Meadows has a mature Hospitalist program and the ED has the electronic T System for charting. Our ED sees a little bit of everything, most tertiary care goes to Savannah which is 90 miles away. Meadows has virtually every specialist on its staff including interventional cardiologists. The new radiology department will have two 160 slice CT’s and the only 8 channel, fresh blood imaging MRI within 180 miles (also has the largest opening of any non-open MRI made).

The package will include moving expenses, $10,000 CME per year, fully funded 401-K with a very strong contribution after one year of employment, health, LTD, malpractice, $120 per hour with incentive bonuses.

Meadows Regional is a Top 100 US Hospital three of the last five years, we are moving into the newest state-of-the art hospital in early February, and we have successfully recruited over 35 outstanding physicians to Vidalia in the last several years. Vidalia offers excellent schools, low crime, no traffic, snow or smog.
