Full-Time 5200 Cardiologist

Job Description

We are looking for cardiology coverage for both of our hosptials; a cardiologist for Medical Center North located between Arab and Guntersville, and a cardiologist for MArshall Medical Center south located between Albertville and Boaz. No coverage at Marshall Medical Center North at present. One cardiologist is located in the South end of Marshall County. This physician wants to remain solo, however is open to a shared call arrangement.

Cardiologists would need to perform heart caths as appropriate, take call for cardiology service for emergency department, inpatient consultations for medical staff, and see outpatients in office. No CV surgery available locally.

There may other call coverage possibilities that may be explored with cardiologist. However, there is a huge need for a cardiologist. It is the most common reason that patients are transferred out, and it is at the top of the list as a specialty that patients leave Marshall County for.
