Job Description

• Board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN needed for South Georgia Physicians for Women, a growing practice located in Tifton, Georgia. Tifton is found in the south central region of Georgia (approximately 50 miles north of the Florida border).
• South Georgia Physicians for Women is an established OB/GYN practice offering comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological services, all in a warm, patient-friendly setting.
• Tift Regional Medical Center (TRMC) is a progressive, 191-bed acute care facility with more than 120 physicians representing over 30 specialties.
  • With a 10-bed surgical unit, the Elene Dorminy Women’s Pavilion at TRMC accommodates female patients
  who have general, abdominal, breast, gynecological and related surgeries. Our surgeons also offer some of
  the only minimally-invasive gynecological procedures available in South Georgia.
• A special feature of The Elene Dorminy Women’s Pavilion is family-focused childbirth involving single-room maternity care, allowing patients to labor, deliver and spend postpartum time in an alluring and comfortable
  room with well-qualified medical attention. To streamline hospital-admitting procedures, the Women’sPavilion has its own registration area for any health-related service during pregnancy. Newborns can either
  stay with mothers in their room or in the nursery.
  • The TRMC Women’s Imaging Center houses the absolute latest in imaging technology. Digitalmammography,
  DEXA bone density scanning, stereotactic breast biopsy and ultrasound are in one
  convenient and central location for women.
